I never planned on becoming a software developer.
I spent over a decade in the fire service, where I learned to make decisions under pressure, solve complex problems, and stay calm when the stakes were high.
In 2020, I stepped away from that career to homeschool my son. I had an idea for an application but knew traditional software development wasn't the fastest path forward. Then I discovered Bubble.io, and it completely changed my trajectory.
Since then, I've gone from building my first applications to freelancing, interning with a UK startup, leading development initiatives, and designing AI-powered systems that help people make better decisions.
My path into technology wasn't conventional, and that's become one of my greatest strengths. I approach software the same way I approached emergency response: understand the problem, remove unnecessary complexity, and build something people can rely on.
Whether I'm creating AI workflows, internal tools, or customer-facing products, my goal is always the same: make technology genuinely useful.
